The Grand Banks dory was commonly used as a fishing vessel on the Grand Banks of Newfoundland in the late 1800s. They became very popular due to their low cost and relative ease of production.

This model dory may vary by several inches in size as no model dory is exactly the same. A yellow sample measures approximately 21 1/2" long and 6" wide. The orange model measures approximately 17" long and 5 1/4" wide.
